In 2006 founders developed the idea when local restaurants were in need of high quality hand made naans. Clay Oven Bakery was created and started supplying not just restaurants but then wholesalers and then to supplying national supermarkets.
With this growing popularity the company is now based at its 3rd premises which is purpose built with further plans to grow and extend. Quality is at the heart of the delicious tasting naans and what makes Clay Oven Bakery different.
We take pride in what we do, baking high quality products and delivering exceptional customer service to the retailers who stock them.
We are registered with SALSA (Safe and Local Supplier Approval), a standard written by experienced food safety experts that reflects both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of ‘best practice’ of professional food buyers.
We also have a hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) plan to ensure our products are made to the highest standard of food safety.
